DOCUMENTARY

Nepalese chef Khadag Bista, was working in New Zealand when he had a car accident in 2018, which left him with a Traumatic Brain Injury. Doctors feared he had no chance of recovery. But, after 22 days in a coma, Khadag woke up. He then spent eight months learning to eat, speak and to walk again. Today, Khadag walks with the aid of a brace on his left leg and a walker for support; and his speech is still difficult to understand. But Khadag is a stubborn and determined character who walks 3-10 kilometres every day as part of his rehab.
