DOCUMENTARY

Rugby is a staple in many Kiwi households and for Bradley, Brendan and April - who all live with intellectual disabilities - it means commitment and community. On Wednesday nights in Christchurch they train as part of the Tri Rugby team, learning skills that they can apply both on and off the rugby field. For some members, playing on the field hasn’t always been available to them - but when they cross the white lines they are treated as rugby players. It’s more than just a sport to this team - it means whānau.
